Delivery model
Visits can be understood to have a delivery model based on the location of the patients and the location of the clinicians when services are being rendered.
In terms of patient location,Visits can either happen:
- In-clinic, meaning the patients on the visit will be seen at a pre-defined Clinic. This is the traditional healthcare delivery model.
- Mobile, meaning the patients will be seen outside of a centralised clinic location. This may be their home, workplace, or another place in their lives. This is the at-home healthcare delivery model.
In terms of clinician location, a Clinician Appointment on a visit can happen either:
- Virtually meaning services will be rendered purely virtually via phone or video conferencing. This is the tele-health model.
- In-person, meaning the clinician will drive to the Mobile or In-clinic location.
Our system gives you complete flexibility in mixing-and-matching modalities. You can book a visit for a patient at a clinic, then have them be seen both in-person by a clinician who works at or drives to the clinic, and virtually by a clinician who is in a different city but is calling in virtually.
